We are having a lovely time. We have all fallen in love with the house. My daughter in law is considering taking up squatters' rights. She says that everywhere she looks there is something else fantastic.

Barbara M, Aberdwr,  3rd June 2012.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Aberdwr. We were a family group of ten, ranging from grandparents to babies. From the minute we walked in we felt at home. The house is very comfortable, and there was nothing we could have wanted. The large modern luxury kitchen with seating for 10 or 12 is wonderful, with amazing views across the Menai Strait; these spectacular views can be enjoyed from the terraces and the large windows in the sitting room and the family/games room, as well as from the bedrooms. The Games Room with table tennis and wi-fi was indispensible when the weather was disappointing.  Much thought has been given to providing everything that can make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The linen, including towels, were of luxury quality and much appreciated. Every person in our party, aged from 8 months to late 67 years, had a wonderful holiday. We cannot recommend Aberdwr too highly.

So much space and fantastic views over the Menai Straits. Everything about the house says quality, it feels like the type of place where Arthur Ransome would have written Swallows and Amazons. I don't want to promote the place too much as I want to keep it a secret for us.....

Loved the house, very comfortable, great kitchen for chef rivalry and incredible view for dining in or outside. It will cost me a new dining table and bedding at my home! I was slightly worried about the access for my mother but the owner supplied extra photos of the access steps and it was easy in the end. The location is great, you can see the weather in the mountains so when it was good we walked Snowdon, but lovely walks all around Anglesey which gets much better weather than the mountains. Really good cycling as well with national cycle routes on very quiet roads. Bird watching off the terrace is also very good.
Local Waitrose has everything a chef could want
